Elite Edge 800 Greenhouse

Titan Framework – Elite have chosen to use their titan bars in the construction of these greenhouses. The core-vect technology used when creating the bars allows for more aluminium content, resulting in an aluminium bar which is thicker than many other greenhouses. 

 

Safety Glazing – this greenhouse features 4mm toughened glass in the walls and 6mm polycarbonate in the roof. Toughened glass is ideal if you have any pets, young children or live in an urban area purely because in the event of a breakage, the glass granulates and therefore removes any danger of injury. If you would prefer to have 6mm polycarbonate in both roof and walls then select the polycarbonate option. 

 

Bar Capping – holding the glazing securely in place this bar capping also creates a neat, professional finish. Colour coordinated to suit the colour of your frame, with a plain frame please specify the colour of bar capping you require.

 

Integral Base – this greenhouse includes an integral, aluminium base. The doors are ‘dropped’ into the base to create a low-level threshold and cambered cill for easy access. This type of base can be fitted directly onto soft ground as well as a solid foundation. 
 

Double Doors – 3ft 9 inches (1150mm) wide & 6ft 3 inches (1910mm) high, fingertip sliding doors with door handle and lock. Situated on the length of your greenhouse. Please advise the door position required when placing your order. For the longer lengths extra doors can be added as an optional extra.

Ventilation – each greenhouse comes complete with two hinged vents and one five bladed louvre. The hinged vents are designed to be fitted below the overhang of the greenhouse, on the end of the greenhouse where the door is positioned. No extra hinged vents can be fitted. These are manually opening windows with stays – an automatic opener cannot be fitted to these windows. The louvre window can be fitted into any of the other three sides of the greenhouses.

Integral Gutter – an aluminium gutter runs across the rear of the greenhouse. An Elite Rainwater Collection Kit can be fitted if you wish to divert rainwater into a water butt.

Dimensions:
Width 8ft 5 inches (2593mm) – with the Edge greenhouse the width is the dimension from the door end of the greenhouse to the rear and is the measurement on the ground.
Available in seven lengths – 8ft 5 inches (2538mm), 10ft 5 inches (3156mm), 12ft 6 inches (3774mm), 14ft 6 inches (4392mm), 16ft 6 inches (5010mm), 18ft 6 inches (5628mm), and 20ft 6 inches (6246mm). With the Edge greenhouse the double doors are in the ‘length’ of the greenhouse, so the length describes the left to right hand dimension of the greenhouse. Longer lengths are available – if required please ask for a quotation. 

Height at front of greenhouse – 9ft 2 inches (2790mm) (to front of overhang, including base)

Height at rear of greenhouse – 6ft 2 inches (1890mm) (including base).

The dimensions provided for greenhouses are ‘nominal’. A nominal size is used for identification purposes only and will not match the exact dimensions of the product. We can supply you with exact dimensions which will allow you to prepare a base in advance if you need to.

These greenhouses are supplied direct from the manufacturers. Whilst every attempt is made for your order to be delivered promptly and in perfect condition, we strongly recommend that no arrangements for installation involving third party contractors are made until you are in receipt of your goods and have checked that they are satisfactory. 

Please Note: Elite use their own transport to deliver their greenhouses.  Please allow 4-5 weeks for delivery on plain frame models and 10-14 for painted models.

Are there any low bridges, narrow roads, or any restrictions you can think of in gaining access to the property? 

Can we get there with our vehicle? – a 15-ton lorry, 30ft long, 11ft 4 inches high, 8ft 6 inches wide (similar to the size of a removal van).
